Yiling Wu ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ZenRename macOS application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.

3. How the App Uses Information (Locally)

ZenRename functions entirely locally on your macOS device. The App requires access to the files and folders you explicitly select via the user interface solely for the purpose of performing the batch renaming operations you initiate.

• File Access: The App accesses filenames and potentially file metadata (like creation/modification dates if used in your renaming rules) only when you add files to the App and when performing the rename operation.
• Local Processing: All processing, including applying renaming rules (Regular Expressions, prefixes, suffixes, style conversions, etc.), occurs exclusively on your computer. No data related to your files or how you use the App is sent to us or any third party.
• Local Storage: Configuration data, such as saved renaming templates, are stored locally on your device under your control within the App's standard preference or application support files.

4. Data Sharing

Since ZenRename does not collect or transmit any personal information or user file data, we do not share any such data with any third parties.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personal information (which should not be possible through this App's core functionality), please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.
